I visited the Portsmouth, NH area in July of 2008 and will be making a return trip for a week in July of 2009. I have always had a slight interest in cemeteries and old headstones and just "happened" to come across a huge cemetery in Portsmouth last year which I believe to be part of the South Street Cemeteries. After spending a little bit of time there walking around and taking pictures, I knew that that was going to be one of the places I revisit again this year. Some of the stories associated with those buried in these places are just amazing...... I look forward to exploring more of that particular burial place and will be taking lots and lots of pics to bring back home with me. The book is a good tool to refer to and it provides some basic information on some of the residents located in the Portsmouth cemeteries.
