I've owned my Poseidon Jetstream for over ten years and have done countless dives with it. It has never let me down underwater, always providing consistent breathing at every depth - and I've dived to 50 metres on air. I've used it everywhere from the cold and murky waters around the British Isles, to Hawaii (where I live), to the Great Barrier Reef.

The ABS body of the second stage is very robust, mine has never cracked or shown other signs of deterioration. The mechanical design is simple and effective, and the build quality excellent. The purge button is a little stiff, but actually this is a bonus as it effectively prevents accidental operation.

The first stage is built like a tank and has one high-pressure port, one `regulator' port and three low-pressure ports. It is *very* solidly made. In its minimal form it is designed to connect to a DIN (300 bar) valve, but has an adapter to enable it to connect to the rather more common A-clamp type.

One preventative service a year plus the normal after-dive rinse in fresh water should be all this regulator needs to serve you well for many years. I recommend this fine device unreservedly.
