Before you read any further: See if the "bargain price" version of this book is still available (this review is there, too). If so, it's half the price! Just go to the top of this page and look at the other editions available. It should be there if Amazon still has any left. It's the same book, but there might be small marks on the cover or a sticker, etc. Mine has very small marks which I was able to remove and an Amazon Bargain sticker which I also removed without any problems :)

Now, on with my review...

If you're wondering which to get, this one of the original book (ISBN:0811839575), I'd say go for this one. The original only has pictures and names for each position, but this one also gives an estimate of calories burned (kind of a joke, really), a rating system you can give each after you've tried them, as well as comments fields which you can fill in.

The positions aren't exactly the same as the original, however, at least not in the same order. Doing a quick flip through of both, they may be the same 365 or so, but they don't appear on the same dates as in the original (except for the holiday specific ones). In other words, there may be some in one book that aren't in the other, or they may just be rearranged, I'm not sure.

The only other difference between the two is the size. While both are the same thickness, the original is a bit smaller than this one since it lacks the additions I mentioned above.

Overall, if you're interested in keeping track of which ones you do and such, go for this one. If not, then it doesn't really matter. If you can still get this one at the bargain price of $4.99, then you should get it for sure!

And remember, this book was intended to be humorous, not totally serious. Many of the positions are not even humanly possible (although I'm sure many have tried) and that is mentioned in the introduction. It's still fun to experiment and just have fun with it. For examples, check out the original site these were published on.

This book had some possible positions, but it also has some that are impossibly. I bought this as a gift for my husband, and we have not used it at all. Absolute waste of money.

This is an excellent book if you are interested in spicing up your intimate moments. Each position is associated with a day on the calendar and a unique name. Readers should be aware that not all of the illustrated activites are achievable by mere mortals. Some of them require the skills of a world-class gymnast. It does, however, go a long way in showing positions that may not occur to everyone. That being said it is a most humorous and entertaining reference manual.

While this book offers some good positions alot of them are repeated throughout the year.
Some require members of the same sex (if that's ur thing) & some require more two people (again great if that ur thing).
I wouldn't recommend this book for monogamous couples or gay couples since it tries to fill every niche it seems to be meant for porn stars or sexual adventurous & bi/curios people.

I bought this book for entertainment but after I look through some pages, it was very neatly organized with little memos and rating scale. I really like the picture and size of the book is very appropriate, not so big or small. I will recommend this book to my friends and I hope this book will be fun :D

So some of the positions are repeats of others- but MANY of them are really nice to try for the first time. Great sexy time!I bought the book and now Im gonna have to buy another. The book was TOO wonderful- somebody stole it from me! See ya soon!

Not only is this book educational as far as new inspiring positions for you and your partner but this book also is pretty funny.. Me and my girlfriend seen this book and had to have it.. We bought it and have enjoyed it ever since.. great gift idea too..

Wow, what else can I say. This book is great! It tells you what to do on what day!

Different from all of the other "position" type books. Even has a place where you can write your own reactions and feelings or "ratings" about a certain one. There really is one for each day of the year, although I think some are quite similar if not repeated throughout the year...
