Great book for learning your basics with positioning...!,
By Angela Kobylarz (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Positioning in A Wheelchair: A Guide for Professional Caregivers of the Disabled Adult (Paperback)
This is a great book that thoroughly explains the basics of wheelchair positioning to building positioning aides to meet the needs of clients/residents. Provides the reader with a baseline of what to look for from someone's trunk, head, through toe; and where to go from there. Specifics types of seating needs are also discussed in order to achieve proper wheelchair positioning. Great book overall, especially in long-term care for OT students or new grads.... wherever wheelchair positioning is encountered daily. Helped me a lot!
