5.0 out of 5 stars Mi faddah mi muddah mi sistah mi brudda all like dis one
Here comes review number two. I agree with reviewer number one. This is truly a great reggae effort from the truly great roots reggae artists, BLACK UHURU. I like just about anything by Black Uhuru, but to the newcomer, understand that Black Uhuru can mean several different things and can come in several different forms. The female voice in this release adds to the music what I like to call the beauty of the songs. Puma Jones's (rest her soul) voice was such a beautiful decoration to the odd sounds of Black Uhuru at the time. This release features her talents quite nicely. I am sure, too, that BOB fans will love it. Other forms that Black Uhuru can come to you in is the form of Don Carlos as the singer or Junior Reid and Mykal/Michael Rose as frontmen. Each of whom has released solo albums which, if you liked the years of Black Uhuru in which they fronted the band, you are sure to like thier solo efforts. This release in particular features Junior Reid as the frontman. If you like this cd as I do then I recommend Junior Reid's ONE BLOOD (sorry, no Puma on One Blood).

Strange that such a strong "roots" album gets not one review after all the years it's been around...trust me Bob fans, get this one.
