THE POSITIVE CHILD IS AN EXTRAORDINARY BOOK. IT IS A CLEAR, COMPLETE AND INSPIRING TOOL FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS, EDUCATORS AND PEOPLE IN GENERAL. IF CHILDREN WOULD BE RAISED AND BROUGHT UP IN A MORE POSITIVE AND CONSCIOUS WAY THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE, FOR THE CHILDREN OF TODAY WILL BE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW. THIS BOOK PROVIDES US WITH THE GUIDELINES TO DO SO.

I loved it! I am not the spiritual type person. But this book was simple and practical. It moved me; and my children love when I read the poems and affirmations to them. I do not know if they understand what I say, but the words are so conscious and the moment with them so precious that is worth to believe that children understand everything. I am going to buy other books of the author as well.

I have know Ivonne Delaflor for over ten years. From the moment I met her I have experienced love and an open heart whenever I have had the opportunity to be in her presence. I have watched her with my children who are now 15 and 18 and with her own. She is a gift to anyone who knows her but she is especially wonderful with children. When you read this book you will find many innovative and powerful ways to connect sweetly with your children's hearts. And since I, too, am a child, I particularly enjoyed learning new ways to allow the natural exuberance of being a child to come out in me. Excellent!

This is another MUST READ book for parents on the quest for positively impacting their children through the language of love. Ms. Delaflor, as usual, imparts great insights and practical tips for parenting. There are numerous and fabulous ideas to incorporate into your own parenting style and philosophy as well. Her personal stories about her own parenting experiences further add to the flavor of this wonderfully written book. Two thumbs up!

A friend of mine from Arizona suggested me to look at the book The Positive Child to review it, as I write reviews for books in a major newspaper in south america. I bought the book and found not only an inmense source of wisdom, but also very USEFUL AND PRACTICAL guidance for parents to guide their children with less doing and more being, through respect, kindness, healthy limits and love. It is the first book that I read that puts spiritual concepts in an easy way for parents to grasp and recognize in their children. In the process of reading it, my own childhood memories came to my awareness and a ceartain healing occurred. The book left me with a deep lesson of love, respect and choices. This book is about choices, possibilities all based in love, using a language of love and modeling every step of the way.

I heard a fried of mine reading a poem to his son which spoke about gratitude and love and spIritual terms in very soft and uplifting ways. It called my attention not only the poem itself, but the amazing focus that Ricardo, (my friend's son) who is only 5 years old, had at that moment. Ricardo wanted his father to read him more! And began asking What is kindness? what is choice? I simply was so moved! I immediately bought the book he was using and it has been of so much help for my own child within, who honestly felt wounded from my early childhood experiences, and also It is a blessing for reading it to my daughter who was diagnosed with autism. It is a book of love, from love and the most amazing part is that children listen to it! Hopefuly I'll listen as well. Great book!

I met the author in a workshop in Cancun. She is really a positive person and my son and daughter loved her! And that for me is the best review I can give. Other than that, the book is elegant and very useful. My wife uses what the author gave to her, and my children sleep affirming their day! Best of luck to all!

I have been blessed not only to read the book but also to meet the author. Both are as uniqe and special as love in itself is. I have seen the author in action with children, and specially her own and all she shares with us in her book The Positive Child, it is based not only on her professional experience but also a real experience in the practical sense that comes from love and grand respect for children. I loved the inspirations in this book and specially the exercise for THE TIME OUT ALTERNATIVE. My daughter Carla loves it too. I can apply the principles of the book so easily!
