5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for beginning daycares, August 23, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Positive Discipline for Childcare Providers: A Practical and Effective Plan for Every Preschool and Daycare Program (Paperback)
I was looking for a book that would help me come up with ideas for daycare. I was tired of time-out and I hated the fact that I followed the same routine day after day. This book allowed me to shake it up a little. Allowed me to get a better insight of what daycare should be about and reminded me how important these little ones are. Highly recommended for people starting up daycares!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE Non-punitive Way to More Meaningful Provider-Child Relationships, October 4, 2008
By
This review is from: Positive Discipline for Childcare Providers: A Practical and Effective Plan for Every Preschool and Daycare Program (Paperback)
This book is a favorite of mine when I work with child care providers - it now has set a standard for local providers' interactions. Local providers are still being subjected topunitive frameworks, but the ones who have this book know the difference and aren't afraid to tell other trainers that "that won't fit into my positive discipline toolbox!"
