This review is from: Positive Self-Talk for Children: Teaching Self-Esteem Through Affirmations: A Guide For Parents, Teachers, And Counselors (Paperback)
This book offers one more self-empowering tool for children and teens to cope with life's angst and heal hurts. Self-talk empowers children to handle life with confidence and raise their self-esteem. Children have a tool to check in on their feelings and become cognitively aware of what they are telling themselves 'in the moment.' Changing negative self-talk to positive self-talk is where profound changes begin. Douglas Bloch's book is a must read for parents and those in the helping professions.
