I've never written a review on a purchase that I've made, but I can't say enough about this cd. I play it for my 4 year old son every night. He always wants to listen to his "music" when he goes to bed. It's composed of positive affirmations for children. He has even quoted some of them while awake! Out of all of the money I have spent on educational books and toys for him, this is definitely one of the best buys. Not only is it one of the least expensive, but something that he can use day after day for years without tiring of. I wish I had this growing up!

This CD vastly exceeded my expectations. I wish I had found it sooner!

The music is lovely, Chitra Sukhu's voice is beautiful and soothing, and the child's voice is also surprisingly calm and clear.

Examples of some of the affirmations include:

"I am able to handle any problem."

"I am strong within."

"I am happy with who I am."

"I choose to create happiness in my life."

"I am ready for whatever life brings me."

"I am able to master anything I put my mind to."

My son is three years old and loves this recording. He often suggests, "Let's listen to our affirmations!"

I play it at bedtime and keep it on repeat in the hopes that these wonderful messages are reaching his subconscious mind.

Highly, highly recommended, and not just for kids. It's perfectly appropriate for people of all ages (though there is at least one reference to easily completing lessons in school and a few referring to parents). My teen aged daughter loves it as well, and I adore it, too.

I didn't know an affirmation positive thought cd could be so good.

It is a delight! My autistic daughter is why I purchased it, and

we (the entire family) are REALLY enjoying this one !!!! I am going

to purchase her other titles, too. The affirmations given are perfect,

My son needed a peaceful CD with stories, etc. to help fall asleep. This CD is fantastic - it is the type of CD to listen to over and over, even for adults!

Sometimes it is difficult for me to sleep without my mind racing. I am not sure if my young childern will ever have that problem. I would like to teach them the importance of living a happy, simple, peaceful life. I am trying to teach them some yoga at this time, but got this cd to enhance a positive and relaxing sleeping environment. Thus far it has been very successful in creating a safe and positive/peaceful sleeping place for my two boys. I also have her Guided imagery for pregnancy and conception ( I adore that). This is a similar cd set up. I love her voice, and I don't find the music overbearing at all. Other guided imagery is to guided. WHat I like it that my kids don't really need to use the images or know how to. They can just listen, think about the positive affirmations while falling asleep to this cd. I can't tell you the importance of positive thinking and what belief will do for a person. I witness this in my obstetric patients everyday. I have witnessed woman whom have sacred themselves crazy during labor. I have also seen what positive affirmations during pregnancy and labor do for other women. I have decided to use this for myself and in my parenting for my childern. Try this cd. It is only 3 dollars downloaded. You can't lose at that price.

Of all the music I considered for my kids at bedtime, I like this one the best. My girls like it too, which is the true test. We tried out other bedtime CD's that had high-pitched voices or creepy voices, but on the Chitra Sukhu CD's, both the child and adult voices are pleasant. The music is relaxing too, and the affirmations are understandable to my daughter.

I brought this CD because I want my children to grow up understanding who they are as powerful creators and this CD truly delievers just that! I have a eight week old baby boy and I played this CD for him during his bed time. The music was so relaxing and the words gave me goose bumps. The positive words on this CD are amazing and powerful! I would encourage parents to get this CD for their children. If your looking for a CD that will make a big difference in your child's life as well as your own, this is it!!!!

Upon receiving the CD that I ordered for my two sons - 4 and 9 years of age - we played it at night and they fell asleep within seconds as they were tired...but I found the CD so encouraging, positive and enlivening that I lay and listened to the entire first 33 minute track. The next morning I played it again when the children were wide awake. The frequency it sends out is really great for those who believe in the power of thoughts. However, it is a bit repetitive and I can only play a short piece at a time to my kids to prevent them from complaining it is "boring" or the "same thing over again"...but they are young and they are boys...the content, music and sound quality are great and adults will love it too, but kids may have to hear it in little bits, or just when they are falling asleep...

My 7 year old daughter listens to this as she falls asleep. It has only been a week and she is already showing increased intuition. She loves the cd and requests it!
