This very readable, friendly book gives positive advice---not so much "do not" but "do this!" to feel and look great. The recipes and menus are not only inspiring and do-able, but sound more like daily, delicious indulgences than a spartan regimen. In addition to tempting dishes for the table, the author includes delicious kitchen-inspired 'spa' treatments--masks, scrubs...

Never Got to the end of this book, you need to be very patient to really enjoy the book, it's got alot of details that are important, but could have been better presented in a much simpler way.

Its almost like you are reading a text book than a means of encouraging one to lose weight.

This very readable, friendly book gives positive advice---not so much "do not" but "do this!" to feel and look great. In addition to tempting dishes for the table, the author includes delicious kitchen-inspired 'spa' treatments--masks, scrubs and body rubs that are mouthwatering. I will recommend this book also for my younger-than-boomer-generation friends who want to maintain being their best.

I felt like a new person after following Dr. Cheryl's nutritional advice. I lost weight, but more importantly, I looked great! Everyone commented on how much I glowed after a few weeks of following the plan.

Finally! A book by someone who's knowledgeable about the subject of antiaging nutrition. I saw her on television and she really knows her stuff.
I've read a few popular antiaging books and I liked Positively Ageless better because it is written from the perspective of a nutritionist who is also a professional chef. She makes the subject easy and logical to understand. Her recipes sound and taste great. I even made two of them myself so far which is a first for me.

Cheryl Forberg has done it again! Having written or contributed to 9 books, Cheryl has once again given us a book packed with health information from start to finish! Everything for a woman's good health has been included and documented in this excellent and must read book. This book is packed with encouraging
chapters on improving good health and preventing measures that would be damaging to a womans health.
What to eat, how to diet, and how to improve appearance and energy levels are all here for taking and applying. Many questions on a womans health and illness are written in great detail with medical back-up and expertise. I highly recommend this positive read which so beautifully answers questions on many health levels and leaves one feeling, "yes, I can!"

Having read Stop the Clock Cooking a few years ago, I was excited to see this new book by this author. The book not only talks about food choices and recommendations, but about the science behind them and their impact on key body functions...easy and not complicated.

First we want to grow up; then, we want to look younger! Positively Ageless gives advice on how to take care of ourselves inside and out. I've met Cheryl Forberg and she is a perfect example of practicing what she preaches. This book touches upon every aspect of maintaining health and the recipes are doable and delicious. That's what I want to be --'positively ageless'. Thanks.

As the editor of DolceDolce.com I reveiw dozens of anti-aging books as well as cook books. Cheryl as captured the best of both. Her recipes are mouth watering. You can tell a chef was at work in this book. Her health information is fabulous. She doesn't miss a trick: skin, hair bones, weight, she covers it all. She lets you know what and how to eat to stay healthy, vital, vigorous, --and ageless. This is a great reference book for women of all ages; shop with it and cook with it!

For those of us wanting to keep our bodies healthy and as "ageless" as we can, this book is a hit! The easy to understand examples (like the oxidizing apple...) are great, and the no-nonsense research is fascinating and well-written. And the recipes are terrific too -- so far, of the 4 I've tried, all are yummy! Great book...

I thought I knew a lot about the "right" kinds of foods, but POSITIVELY AGELESS not only goes deeper into WHY these foods are good, but also HOW they work in your body... the author conveys this information in a way that anyone can easily understand and I didn't need a chemisty degree to understand it. I LOVE this book and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to eat the right foods to stay healthy and live longer, the natural way! AWESOME book!
