a feel-good book!,

The title of the book says it all. Notice how "controversy" or "queer" are not in the title; it's neither just a debate or some postmodern radicalism. This book is best for gay men and lesbians just coming out. It's all about being positive about supporting gay rights and being a part of the community and coming out to straights. I particularly liked this book for its section on lesbians and gay men of color. This was a nice, easily read anthology.

I used to be ashamed of being gay, in many ways, I still am. But this book helped me embrace my inner 'mo. The other day, I was brave enough to discuss a homoerotic fantasy in public! Namely the one [...] In other words...I'm Positively Gay!
