I liked the look of this lamp more than similar ones on other sites. But, I was disappointed overall with the quality. I was missing hardware (which was expected, since the screws/tools were hastily thrown into the box, NOT in a bag, and without having all corners of the box properly taped up). Instructions were useless, but if you've haggled IKEA stuff together, you won't have too much trouble. In the end, the lamp feels very unsturdy, which may simply be because I had to jerry rig the parts together. Not what I expected for a lamp this price. But, I will be keeping it, because there's no chance I'm going to try to ship back 60 pounds of marble. On a positive note, it does put off more light in our living room than I had expected.
