These stories are the best. I would recommend them to anyone 9 years old and up, including adults. I love the play-on-words in the title and the Sam Spade/Mike Hammer-type dialogue and narration. What a clever story by an even more clever classic, unique story teller. 5-stars and two thumbs up for Bruce Hale!!

Chet Gecko is on the case. A client, Viola, is running for student council president. Unfortunately, some one is not only trying to stop her, but the rest of the people running. I loved this book because it was full of suspense and fun, too. I love the other books by this author as well.
