Skunk Anansie feature one of the best vocalist of all time. The power and emotion Skin delivers in her singing is astonishing. Once again Skunk have delivered an album that is devoid of even mediocre tracks, producing consistently good to excellent songs.

When I first heard this album, my jaw dropped at how different the opening drum work was from Skunk's previous albums. And I really liked it and I wished the track continued in that vein. However, it flips into a fairly regular (but very good) rock track, and while the album makes more use of electronic instruments than the previous work, it's still mostly an angry woman backed by guitars and drums. That's not to say that Skin just shouts her vocals, as she has tremendous subtlety and beauty in many songs. The depth of expression she crafts is what raises Skunk Anansie's sound head and shoulders above the rest.

Buy it. You won't regret it.

Skunk Anansie is one of the best rock bands in the world and this is their best CD!

SA was a good band. Seen them live a couple of times and they carry the feeling from the cd to the stage. The singer is a solo act and has yet to come to the US but either way a must have.
