The Post-it^® Note was invented as a solution without a problem. In 1968 Dr. Spencer Silver, a 3M scientist, developed a unique, repositionable adhesive. As remarkable as it was, the product could not find a market. Six years later, colleague Art Fry recalled Silver's seminars promoting the light adhesive when he was daydreaming about a bookmark that would stay put in his church hymnal. The rest is history.

Are All Post-it^® Paper Products Recyclable?
Yes. 3M has conducted recycling trials on Post-it^® Notes at recycled paper mills. The adhesive does not interfere with paper recycling, because the adhesive is substantially removed in the paper de-inking process. The dyes in the paper are also removed in this part of the process.

Are Post-it^® Notes Made from Recycled Paper?
Yes. Many different colors and sizes of Post-it^® Notes are available with paper containing at least 30 percent post-consumer recycled content. In addition, 3M offers 100 percent recycled content notes in canary yellow and assorted pastel colors. The 100 percent recycled content notes contain 70 percent pre-consumer and 30 percent post-consumer fiber. Post-it^® Easel Pads are also available with 30 percent post-consumer content paper.

I chose the Pastel 5-pack,could not find this product anywhere locally and Amazon, after research, offers the best price and shipping (Free Super Saver Shipping over $25.00) and this item is included in the offer at this time, at least.

Initially, the price seems high, I went ahead and counted (just once) the sheet count in one pack and it was 101 sheets X 5 pads = 505 lined and well-binded sheets. That drops the price drastically per item and combined with the free shipping is very economical. Used to use them for lists, reminders, motivational statements, have missed them for years. Glad to find them again, you won't regret it, especially if you happen to like Canary Yellow---fantastic offer. :)

Feel a little silly giving feedback on Post-Its, but I rely on reviews so here goes.

I have used this item for years. I love that they are lined & in nice shades of color. I will note that these don't come dusty! They are clean. Sometimes when you order office supplies they seem dusty/sitting on a shelf, but these do not.

While I use a variety of Post-It's this one is my favorite. If you like line post-it notes then you will be happy w/ these.

I have never had a problem using the brand name post-it sticky notes. When you find something that works you want plenty to last you. Buying a dozen is the perfect to not run out for quite some time. The price was unbeatable anywhere else and it arrived promptly. I would buy from this seller again.
