I originally walked into Staples to buy some post its and couldn't believe the price. I was happy to see that Amazon was offering the same product for half the price and decided to just Prime it instead. I've used the knock off post its before but the sticky portion never sticks as well as these do. For what probably equates to a regular size notebook, I just wish that they weren't so expensive.

Bought these to replace one bought at the Office supply stores. These give you more for your money and work the same as those bought at the store.

Plus these cost less than those in the stores.

We use these at work and the secretaries love how easy they are to use and that they don't get bumped around or separated like the postits without the container.

Using postit popups is so much easier when you only have one hand free and need to jot something down real quick. Makes my job easier, don't have to waste time looking for something to write on.

I would not even be reviewing these notes except somebody where I work bought them by mistake instead of the normal old-fashioned style. If these were intended as a replacement for the old all-stuck-on-the-same-edge type, I'd certainly be giving them ONE star, because they are a royal pain to use that way. But I realize that would be unfair since they are not intended to be used that way. So this review is based on how they are intended to be used.

Well I'm a machinist and a mechanical designer. I use Post-It notes a lot to take down dimensions, to leave instructions for my assistant machinist, to organize my thoughts in the present, and to remind myself of things in the future. My way of using them is to write first and pull off from the pad later. In fact I very often leave the written note on the pad until I'm done with the information or message and ready to throw it away. I can't imagine pulling the note loose first and writing second... the stickum would become weakened by dust or grease, or get stuck to the old towels we use to set micrometers on out in the shop. How am I supposed to write on a single sheet of paper resting on a soft towel or the soft flesh of my palm, anyway?

Why is it we so often think that the microwave with 23 buttons is "more convenient" than the microwave with one knob and one button? What is our definition of convenience, more thinking and more motions required? And as the rain forests are being cut down and we rapidly approach "peak oil," shouldn't we all be taking a more thrifty and responsible attitude towards our consumption of resources, in matters both large and small?
