I bought all three sets of these (3 different levels) when I began teaching my 5 year old to read. Originally, my plan was to post one word each week on the fridge and review it each morning until he got it. He loved them so much, we started posting one a day and "quizzing" him on them every morning as a little game. We had a cumulative mess of the fridge, but he had a blast, even rearranging them into funny "sentences" as he memorized them. We went through them all in a few months, and it really helped to build his reading confidence. The words in each set are not too difficult or too easy - they are simply the most common words in the English language. Each set gets progressively harder, but at a good, even pace. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

I bought this to work with my 5 year old over the summer to get him ready for school. It has been an amazing tool, he really enjoys practicing reading and making sentences, since he's able to peel them off and move them around.
If your working with your child on early reading skills I would definitely recommend this product.
