Take Note: the picture shows a Wildcat with wartime blue-top, gray-bottom paint and drop tanks...
The model I received had the all-gray with yellow identifying peacetime paint job and drop tanks (which seemed weird...I'd never thought I'd see a pre-war Wildcat F4F-3 with drop tanks, I thought that was a late '42 kinda thing) Anyways...that's not so important...the model itself, in fact, is VERY well detailed. I'd recommend getting the zero-sen model as well and then just studying the two of them...it's really enlightening! Recommended! |
