Let me start off by saying that this is the first music CD I have ever bought. That is how good this music is.

Derby is a band from Oregon that makes some awesome music that is reminiscent of the Beatles. The only word that I can find to describe their music is "chill". It is so smooth and relaxing. I just don't know how to describe it. You have to listen to it for yourself. I cannot wait for them to release their new EP on CD!

I have to admit I found these guys because of a commercial. I did some research and found out it was Derby. I had never even heard of them before. This is a great album from start to finish. I'm serious. Every song is good and there aren't a lot of albums you will find with that distinction. Of course, that is purely subjective. If you are a fan of singer-songwriter style songs and smooth, warm guitar riffs try it out. You can always find them on youtube to see if you like it first.

I first heard of this band when I heard "If Ever There's a Reason" on a commercial. I Googled the song and found out it was Derby. They have gorgeous vocals and harmonies and have a sort-of Crosby, Stills, and Nash vibe. Definitely worth checking out.
