About the Author

Steven Best is Associate Professor and Chair of Philosophy at the University of Texas, El Paso. Douglas Kellner is George Kneller Chair in the Philosophy of Education at the University of California, Los Angeles. They are also coauthors of The Postmodern Adventure, which continues their exploration of current developments in science, culture, and politics.

I don't know how I managed to overlook this gem for so long. (So many books, so little time, I guess). But, hey, these guys really nailed it. This is a GREAT piece of work, and I'm hoping it's never too late to say so. At any rate, consider it said.
