We have also added the soothing ; styptic and anti-bacterial Calendula ; Chickweed ; Marshmallow Root ; Plantain ; and Chamomile. When used in a warm bath ; this will help stimulate blood flow to help soothe and heal the perineal area after birth and help fight infection. In place of a bath and to keep swelling to a minimum ; place the filled muslin bag directly on perineum area either warm or frozen. *NOT FOR USE DURING PREGNANCY Includes reusable muslin bag.
