This item works, but is slightly difficult to put on/take off without help. No directions come with product either. For the price, a good deal though.

I almost like this posture corrector. It's padded and comfortable on the shoulders. However, the placement of the D-rings is too high for underarm comfort, making it difficult to sit with my arms at my sides (hands on hips is OK). If the center strap were just a couple of inches longer, the underarm straps wouldn't dig into my arm pits and I'd be a lot happier.

I should mention that I am a physician and I bought this product for myself. The product design does not meet the standard of a brace and the fabric/material is very cheap. It is very uncomfortable and simply useless. I sent it back and I have never received my money back.

I read the other reviews before my purchase and I think they are pretty spot on. The brace is a bit bulky and a bit uncomfortable, but perfect for what I was looking for. If you are looking for something comfortable and discreet, then this product may not be what you are looking for. Of course, I think there is a fine line between adjusting posture or isolating injuries and comfort!

I wanted a brace that was sturdy, and I did not mind the discomfort so much since it encouraged awareness of my posture. I found that when I threw my shoulders back to the adjustable desired position, there was very little discomfort and the brace worked exactly how I was hoping it would. I'm an athlete, and needed something that would be sturdy and convenient after surfing and cycling. This brace is just that, though I do expect it will wear out in time since the fabric is a bit soft.

The other thing you want to be aware of is that the product was slightly different than pictured. Mine came with receiving velcro on the back as is pictured, but the D-hooks are actually sewn to position and are not vertically adjustable. I did not mind this difference since the rest of the adjustments fit to what I need. I'm a pretty broad-shouldered adult, and it fits a wide range.

All-in-all, a great product for the price and the reviews are accurate.

I used it once and now it's in my closet with other disappointing orthopedics. I'll sell it for a reasonable price!! :-)
