Nell is my grandmother, recently passed and although I remember so many things about her, so many stories, the number one memory of my gram is her cooking. I remember her cooking a Thanksgiving dinner in her new home in Northern Maine and the pies being all over the counters! This book has very traditional recipes from her time spent living in Ireland, I also remember visiting her there as a child and her growing potatoes in the garden and using seaweed and kelp for fertilizer.
