Be Particular!

This is the perfect.... perfect read for a ride on a plane, train, or while sitting under the hair dryer. Laughing/Snorting/Chortling is not optional. The humor is brisk and the writing sharp, but not mean-spirited.

I'll give this book to a friend that is undergoing chemo, to another that is plotting her extraction from a loveless marriage, and to my accountant. All three will enjoy Ms. Browne's take on the world through her rhinestone encrusted cat-eyed sunglasses.

This woman tells it all and tells it as it is...This is a must read and I have sent it to several friends who absolutely loved it also...

I have read this book, cover to cover and back again! I love every word in it(curse words and all). This book is very funny and very helpful for everyone thinking of marriage or divorce. Jill has given a lot of us a new way to look at our lives and helps us realize that we all need a good giggle every once in awhile and not take ourselves too seriously. Please, read this book and judge for yourself. That's why God gave ya brains!

Jill hits the target on the mark with her hilarious take on both weddings and divorces. Anyone who has sat through a truly awful wedding or divorce (or worse, been a direct participant!) will find themselves cracking up over the stories within. I found myself chuckling the next day at work while retelling these tales within my head! This is the perfect gift for your girlfriends that 'get it'!

This is a laugh out loud book. Once again Jill C. Brown has hit the nail on the head. Her books kept me laughing when crying would have made more sense. Down to earth Funny and some very touching stories from friends. You must read this.

I love Ms. Browne's books, this one is no exception. Such a clever premise, and between all the hilarity, some gems of wisdom. Ms. Browne's books are like a portable party. (Not a portable potty, a portable PARTY.) Brava!

I bought this book and read it to a friend going through a nasty divorce. Not only did she laugh, she said absolutely every word rang true. The wedding planner half is silly fun with a few good ideas thrown in, but any woman who's had to kick out a Man Who Needs Killing will relish the divorce guide and all its wicked humor.

Whether you are going through a divorce or planning your wedding this book is full of true, practical, funny advice! This book could and should be read over and over again.

I received this book several months ago. I have read all of Ms. Browne's other books and found this one to be equally entertaining. I loved that she used women from her Messageboard of Love as examples in this book. These women are absolutely hilarious. It is like finding a whole new group of friends. If you love to laugh read this book!
