A nice little book about a most interesting episode of naval history,

This review is from: The Potemkin Mutiny (Paperback)
There are only a few books available about the famous "Potemkin Mutiny" of 1905 and this one is excellent for anyone looking for the core of those events. Despite its small number of pages, it contains many details about the Potemkin, the Odessa visit and revolt and the final pursuit to Romania and Feodosia. Especially interesting are the descriptions of the personalities involed and how the changes of fortune (and a treasonous act from a medical officer) condemned the mutiny to failure. The book loses the fifth star only because it doesn't contain any map or photograph.
