I know I'm too old to play with action figures, but I'm a real Harry Potter fan and I love how realistic these action figures look. No more fake troll like hair and faces that aren't even close. These are very realistic. Hermonine comes with two wands which is nice. I love these figures and plan on collecting all of them.

This doll was purchased recently for my daughters birthday, she is a mild sort of child and not at all rough with her toys. She sets aside special containers for wands, and accessories and treats her toys well. That said this doll broke the minute she moved the right arm as I watched her play with it. While it may well have been a manufacturing defect, I was frustrated because we paid over 50 dollars for this. This action figure is not easy to come by and it was her birthday... strong female characters are important to us. I attempted to fix the arm and was going to just make do until the wand snapped as well.

At least in my experience these figures are better suited to looking at than playing with. I was shocked, but two breaks in one night within a half hour of opening the package is not an accident and my daughter did not become a barbarian over night who smashes toys about.

I will be seeking a refund.

The toy does look amazing, and I wish it was more durable than this as they were right on the money with the appearance right down to minute detail of the hair and face. I would recommend. this to collectors but not to parents of children who want to actually move the arms and equip the wands (My daughter is 10 by the way to give you scope of her age and level)
