About the Author

Charles Rickard's name is synonymous with variety and vitality. He now combines acting, producing, screenwriting, conducting a successful business, spending time with his wife and four children, with being a successful author. All of this began when he discovered his natural talent for screenwriting. His third script "Maskim Xul" was produced and released as a feature film. When he recently remarried after meeting his wife on the Internet and going to New York City on a blind date, a new compelling story began and will be the basis of a third novel. She is of Russian ancestry and lived in Latvia for twenty years. Getting her children out of Eastern Europe after 9/11 was life pursuing a novel. I thought this book was very intrigueing.It was totally from a man's point of view on how relationships and responsibilities can make or brake a persons entire outlook on life. I liked it and somehow reminded me a little of Hemmingway.
