If Your Child is Potty Training, This Book Is A Must Have!!, August 14, 2001
This review is from: My Potty Activity Book +45 Toilet Training Tips: Parent/Child Interaction with Coloring and Creative Fun (Paperback)
When I first heard about this book, I thought it would be yet another situation where the parents tried their best to con the child into using the bathroom... but to my surprise, this was not at all the case! I was wonderfully delighted to see that this book places the responsibility of using the potty right where it should be: in the CHILD'S hands! Instead of this book focusing on what Mom/Dad should do to responsibly teach their child to use the potty, it focuses on what the child needs to know to develop the responsibility to use the potty him or herself! Through the many activities in this book, your child is able to pull information from every direction and understand the "whys" and "hows" of potty training while at the same time, putting it all into action. I was amazed at how well this book incorporates many different aspects of using the potty in order to help the child understand that it is the natural thing to do! This book really keeps the idea of potty training fresh in the child's mind, right where it should be! And, since the pages are perforated a parent can tear out a page, make a copy, and both of them color it, or allow two or more children color together. That is awesome! And that feature also keeps the book in good condition for future usage. Along with the Activity Book, a parent can purchase a set of My Potty Reward Stickers. Here again, I was impressed with the fact that even the stickers are geared toward cheering on your child's efforts! Stickers such as "I did it!" and "Out of Diapers!" keep the child thinking about his/her accomplishments and efforts instead of focusing on accidents that we know are going to happen. The middle of the sticker book is a chart that can be hung on the wall and completed by the child. And with 126 stickers in each sticker book, the parents have enough stickers for 4+ months when they use one sticker a day! I am so impressed with Tracy Foote's My Potty Activity Book that I have decided to endorse it in my ezine and on my website! If your child is potty training, this book is a must have!

A great help at an important time!, August 25, 2000
Most projects in life are accomplished using several tools. Potty Activity Book is a great tool for toilet training. This important part of child development finds each child adjusting at different speeds and with different attitudes. Potty Activity is terrific in that it gets a child interested by using a medium (drawing) which the child finds interesting and fun.By drawing and connecting lines and answering easy questions the child becomes familiar with toilet training in a non- threatening manner. The child gradually becomes educated in what steps are necessary to use the toilet. The book could easily have been titled Potty Helper. The special list of 45 Potty Tips is (alone) worth the price of the book!

Not just a book, Not just for fun, It's all in one!, January 27, 2004
This review is from: My Potty Activity Book +45 Toilet Training Tips: Parent/Child Interaction with Coloring and Creative Fun (Paperback)
My Potty Activity Book, stickers and tips are a great addition to your potty training routine. The book arrived much larger than we would have expected and contains many pages of activity fun using drawings and real black and white photos of children. It's not just a book to read through, it's an every day extended activity book. Parent and child can read the book each day over and over, but also interact with creative coloring and stickers day after day, page after page. With your help, your child can proudly check off each milestone they reach on the progress chart and in the end, you have a keepsake activity book with a congratulatory certificate in the back for potty training completion. Even if your child isn't fully trained by the end, you've still spent a lot of fun, creative and quality time together working on potty skills without all the pressure and frustration! <...
