4.0 out of 5 stars Potty Time Fun
My son loves the doll. He feeds it with the bottle all by himself. I didn't think he'd like the doll so much. He loves playing with the party hats too. It's a great educational toy if you follow the directions. There are suggested websites to visit to help in potty training. There is a boy and girl doll. We got the boy doll so and the pants are a bit hard to get on...

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't hold up to my crew
I bought this doll (4 of them) in hopes of using it with potty training my quadruplets. I liked the idea of controlling when the baby pees instead of water just flowing through. We had another doll that we bought at Big Lots for my older son and felt you get what you pay for since it wet out it's neck (yep, called her "Baby Wets Her Neck").

Initially I was...

1.0 out of 5 stars TInkles needs to be flushed!, December 7, 2005

I was excited to begin our training by using the doll as a teaching tool. However, Tinkles would not tinkle. I tried giving her several bottles only to see her vomit through her mouth. If I squeeze her tummy very, very, creepily hard I'll get a few drops for her potty. Not the image I want my daughter to learn about how to go potty...or vomiting for that matter.

I appreciate any company who provides a lifetime guarantee. But I honestly feel it is not worth my time, effort, or money to send back this $10 doll. After 3 weeks of waiting for a reply, plus the 4-6 week replacement time, I'd rather put the costs of mailing it back towards a better product. My daughter can find some kind of fun out of this doll I'm sure, but as a potty training doll it is absolutely worthless. I am very disapointed. With a timely matter such as potty training,I would have gladly paid more upfront for a doll that works well the first time. It's time to upgrade the doll or discontinue it....and it's time for me to keep shopping.

Initially I was pleased with this doll and all 5 of my children enjoyed feeding her and making her use the potty. I also liked that it was made of a softer plastic than our other potty doll. But it was difficult to get water in her, you had to hold the bottle "just right". They were OK to pretend to feed her, but really wanted her to potty.

Well, I'm glad we only opened one package (at my husband's insistance). He didn't think we needed a doll for each child and it turns out we COULD share this toy. Too bad they had to take her apart in order to share. Imagine our surprise when one of my girls held up 2 legs and said "Daddy, wook!". It then became our life's work to try to reattach appendages. The doll spent more time on the counter waiting to have arms and legs attached (it's not that easy to do) than teaching potty or being played with. I think it lasted 3 days in our house. Yes, we have a busy house but I don't think my children are more destructive than the average child.

One great thing is that the doll has a lifetime guarantee to delight your child. I was able to return all of ours to the store (love TRU return policy), so I didn't have to mess with shipping the broken doll back and wait for a refund from the company.

I purchased this doll for my 2 year old daughter that just doesn't want to do the duty on the potty. I thought the concept sounded really promissing but I was dissapointed overall.

First, the Water is really, really hard to get into the doll. the water bottle delivered with this doll is thin and doesn't fit the dolls mouth, so most of the water will squirt out all over you when filling the doll.

Second, I had to press the tummy really really hard to get any "pee" out of the doll, it's not easily done with the doll on the potty. My daughter probably wonders if one has to press ones tummy that hard on the potty??!

Third, at first nothing came out of the "pee hole" on the doll so I had to take a sharp knive and open it more, even then the pee is only a trickle and is not enought to sufficiently show and teach my daughter.

Overall, this doll was pretty much a waste of our money, it is not worth the money and effort. The dolls clothes are also really hard to get on and off for my daughter. If elastics would have been used it would make it easier.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money on this doll!, March 23, 2005

I loved the concept of teaching my 2 year old to use the potty with a dolly, but didn't want to spend a fortune. I was so thrilled to find this, it met my criteria - it wets only when you squeeze her belly - not like some that are hard plastic and pee automatically. Well, first - the bottle is cheap and doesn't fit in her mouth at all!!! so NO water gets into the doll, but plenty gets ON the doll and all over you!!! I sat with the doll dripping the water into her mouth, drop by drop - it was pathetic really. Then, the first time I sat her on the potty to pee - I squeezed her belly and the water shot out of her mouth!! How frustrating. you can't get enough water in her to make a good amount come back out!!

The panties were not a problem for me, but my 2 year old couldn't get them off and on.

I have put her back in her original package, and I am returning her - she is useless.

Good idea but, just poorly excecuted. The bottle needs a longer tip to fit back into her mouth, and then perhaps it would be fine.

I am headed back to Toys R us with this, and I will order the Corolle doll online!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT WORTH IT!, December 16, 2005

I took this back the day after i bought it! It was worthless. It was so hard to get the water in the babies mouth, and even the, the baby would not pee the water out. It just sat in the stomach. How gross is that? Can we say MOLD issues here! It also comes with a very small potty for the baby, and i have seen bigger "more sturdy" ones out there. I am going to buy another one that TALKS and says "mommy, pee-pee" and it is magnetic on the babies back and on the potty, so it only pee's when the baby touches the potty.

Seriously, dont waste your 10.00. You will just take it back or upgrade anyways.

My husband and I purchased this doll this evening. We were hoping we would get a good deal on a doll that would introduce our son to the idea of potty training, let me say, you really get what you pay for.

First we noticed it was impossible not over-fill the dolls mouth, causing water to drip/leak everywhere. Forget trying to get the underwear off. They were stuck in the legs and practically impossible to remove. I have yet to get them back on, which is even more pathetic. Part of teaching is showing the child that underwear/clothing needs to be removed. The difficulty of this dolls clothing makes you want to just leave it nude from the bottom down. POINTLESS.

All in all - about the only good thing are the cute little hats. I should have put the $10 towards a better doll. Oh well, live and learn.

I bought this yesterday preparing my daughter for potty training. I was so excited because of the low price and because you squeeze her tummy to make her "pee". I liked how it gave you potty training tidbits, the party hats and chart. I took her out of the package and gave it to my daughter with the bottle. She couldn't get the bottle in the baby's mouth. But she's only 2 1/2, so I helped her. I couldn't get it in her mouth either! I shoved and shoved, meanwhile, all the water is getting all over her dress. Finally, after some brute force and bribery, I got it in her mouth. I tried to give it back to my daughter, but now she wants no part of it. Okay, now for the peeing. I squeezed and squeezed and couldn't get her to pee. I was convinced I was going it wrong and re-read the instructions. It didn't say anything other than squeeze the tummy. So I squeezed harder and she started to whistle and then spit up. After some violent squeezing, I managed to get one drop out, but now my daughter is so mad that she won't go anywhere near the potty. Fortunately, Toys R Us is letting me return it for something else as long as I have the receipt.
