THIS IS A FIRST CLASS PRODUCT! I recently bought an Ariens 46" lawn tractor and decided that I needed a grass bagger to pick up the clippings. I'm too old to rake clippings. With some research I found that the Poulan Pro came in the 46" deck size, and that it was made to fit the Ariens and Husquavarna tractors as well. Since Amazon had it at $249 with free shipping I decided to give it a go. THAT SAVED ME OVER A HUNDRED BUCKS OVER THE TRACTOR ONLINE STORE PRICE. YEAH! It arrived in one big box from Fed Ex. When I opened it I found the instructions and a bag with 4 one inch shoulder bolts. I thought they have lost the hardware. Wrong. That's all the hardware YOU HAVE TO INSTALL! I installed the 4 shoulder bolts for the tractor arm at the back of the Ariens. The Arm slides onto that and attaches to it with an ingenius locking lever already attached. You slide it down and it clicks locked. IT IS OFFSET TO THE RIGHT SIDE AND DOESN'T AFFECT THE BALL COUPLER I HAVE ON THE BACK OF MY TRACTOR. Then the rear bagger bracket that holds the lid and bags slides down onto that arm(all the clips and such are already in place on it) Gee that took 10 minutes. Then I found the shoot came in 2 sections. The lower section had a tab and two eye holes for the springs, and all I had to do was raise the safety guard, line up the tab and clip those spring hooks into their respective eyeholes. Gee that took another 10 minutes. The top section is a little trickier but once you see how it lines up and clips together it is pretty easy too. It is held secured by an already installed bungi connector. The upper shoot has a handle built in to help you rotate it to slide onto the alignment device. Clip the bungi and it is all connected. The main thing is to keep the seal in place where the shoot goes into the rear box. You have to pay attention there. In 30 minutes I was ready to cut. I had no idea how many grass clippings my yard would produce. I have a difficult yard with a steep hill in back and swingsets and kids toys to dodge. But off to mow I went. My lawn filled the twin bags three times. You just stop, lift the lid, and slide out the bags off of their rails, empty them and replace. The right bag lip goes over the left one when you reinstall. The two bags share a center rail. No biggie! That operation is fast and easy too. THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT THE GRASS BAGGER REALLY WORKS GREAT! Installation is a snap, everything lines up perfectly. [hint, you don't need the more expensive quick connect version of the bagger. This already quick connects and everything you need is included.] It even has a little red spinner on the upper shoot to tell you when the bags are full. Poulan Rocks! My lawn never looked better. No more raking clippings and leaves for this old guy! BRING ON THE FALL, I'M READY!

I purchased this bagger for my Husqvarna 2246 riding mower and am very happy with it's performance. I've already used it to pick up leaves and grass clippings, and it works great for both. A very nice design that took less than 15 minutes to assemble. I was also impressed with Amazon's price (>$100 savings against what Lowe's wants for the same product) and quick delivery (5 days). Highly recommended!

The product works as advertised. Installation was a snap. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is that it fills too quickly in heavy leaves. Otherwise it is great any time you want to sweep your yard.

This is a really good buy.I did alot of research for a 46inch Husqvarna bagger. And amazon.com was the cheapest. It takes less than 10 minutes to put it on your mower and it makes a big diffrence in the yard .I love it. Great addition to the mower, received it sooner than expected. There is

more dust with the bags than the plastic containers, although they hold more. Works Great.

I have an Ariens 46" Riding Lawn Mower Model # 960460023 and the bagger works and fits great. Directions are simple and the bagger works as advertised. Great addition to your mower.

This bagger mounts well enough to Ariens 46 inch mowers, but needs a little modification...nothing anyone can't figure out with a little thought. It works about like I expected, plugs up with wet or very heavy grass, but if you mow regularly and when it is dry, it works pretty well. I am not "blown away" with it, but it is just about what I thought it would be, and does just about what I thought it would, which is fine.

I have almost 3/4 acre to cut. The bagger was delivered at 3:20 pm. By 4:30 pm the same day, I had assembled the bagger kit, cut my yard, and parked the mower. I'm not a handy guy. It took me 3 hours to put a Honda bagger kit together about 10 years ago. This was a piece of cake. Amazon also saved me about $80 from the Lowe's price.

I bought this bagger for my husqy 46" riding mower. Assembly is easy, though I had to add a few mounting bolts to the rear of the tractor, the rest of the unit just slid together. I use this primarily for gathering leaves in the fall.

A couple observations:

1. The rubber linkage isn't quite long enough, making it a pain to hook up to the deck. Adding to the problem are the mower deck leveling wheels are right where the pin goes in. More of an issue with the wheel placement of the mower, but it would be nice if the linkage was a tad longer.

2. It get's dusty when mulching leaves, real dusty. Eye protection and breathing mask (simple painters type works) are recommended.

3. The handles on the bottom of the bins are awesome, so handy when pitching the contents over the neighbor's fence.

4. With leaves, it fills up fast. I was going to go for the three bin, and now I wish I had. But I discovered if I do a quick mow & mulch first, then go back and bag, I get a lot more in to the bins, and less trips to the neighbor's fence.

Overall, I am pretty happy with it. In the past I had a hard bin bagging system for a craftsman mower, and I like those much more than the mesh bins. I may wrap them in duct tape to see if that helps.

Although the measurements were in the description I did not think about how they compared to my old mower bags. What a big difference! One of the old bags would hold both of the new bags. I guess the standard has changed just like everything else. Service was quick so I have no complaints about the seller.
