This lawn mower has been starting VERY easily with me so far! It was packaged well and did not come with the oil in it, rather there was a separate bottle supplied.
It's a good size and easy to manuever. Not like some of those monster size machines that are heavy, and hard to get around corners. Ladies, I recommend this mower if you are like me, and prefer a modest size mower that is easy to manipulate. The powerful engine with the trusted Honda name makes it a good recommendation for all!!

Like others, we had trouble starting this engine when delivered. We discovered the air filter was dripping with oil. UPS probably had the machine upside down and sideways during shipping. This oil saturation would not occur during normal usage. We cleaned the air filter and housing with gasoline. Everything was allowed to dry thoroughly, and the engine has started on the FIRST pull every time since then. Honda engines are incredible. I also have a Toro lawnmower with a Honda engine that is over 22 years old. It is only used about 1/2 hour per week, but the engine has NEVER been touched. It starts on the first pull and runs smoothly. Durable and reliable - what a concept!

The mower itself is light, maneuverable and has a very nice drive train. Although advertised as a one speed, it is actually a variable speed. The more you squeeze the lever, the faster the machine goes. A one-lever adjustment for all four wheels is convenient and solid. There is a hose connection for washing out the deck that is really nice, but not even mentioned in their advertisement.

I bought the unit when it was on sale for $264.63. That is an amazing value!

Ive had no problems with this mower. After I put the oil in, it started right up and no problems after that. There is one flaw and that is that the bag that it comes with is pretty small. I have to stop a lot to empty the bag. Other than that I love it!

This lawn mower is exactly as advertised. I received it several days before I expected it and it was easy to assemble. I'm having a little trouble getting it started...it usually takes about three tries. Otherwise I love it.

I bought it when it was $264. I thought Honda engine for this money is great deal. I was wrong. It died second time I tried to use it. I couldn't start it. I will try to return it, but it could be a problem with no return policy. Don't even think to buy it.
