This review is from: Poulan Pro PR625Y22RPX 22-inch 625 Series Briggs & Stratton Gas Powered Side Discharge/Mulch Front Wheel Drive Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (Lawn & Patio)
Let's see...to start with, the lawnmower wouldn't work out of the box. Just flat-out would not start. Two hours into the phone call with the service center, they directed us to a shop a few miles away. Owner of the shop was able to get the mower started and then informed us that he was not an authorized PoulanPro repair shop and that we shouldn't have been sent to him. Got it home and mower immediately returned to the default "not starting mode". A couple of hours later and a trip for some starting fluid and we were in business. Fast-forward two months and we're back to square one.

When it works, it's fine. But when it doesn't, it would have been nice to have a store to drive this POS back to and dump at their feet.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Poulan Pro PR625Y22RPX 22-inch 625 Series Briggs & Stratton Gas Powered Side Discharge/Mulch Front Wheel Drive Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (Lawn & Patio)
This lawnmower is pathetic.

I bought this mower a year ago and it has started an astonishing 3 times. I mowed 1/2 my lawn the first time I started it up - about half way through it started sputtering and choked out. Checked oil, gas, no issues there. Then I contacted Amazon for service or a refund and they informed me that since the mower had been filled with gas, they could not accept a return. Great!

They referred me to a local repair shop who had a 6 week back-log of work. Double awesome. I used my beater mower for the rest of the summer with the hope I would get it started in the spring.

After winter let up, surprise, the mower started! And then shortly afterward sputtered and died. I've only gotten this $325 piece of junk started one other time since then, and never for long enough to mow.

Word of advice: don't buy this mower, and seriously consider not buying any gas powered equip from Amazon since you can't return.
