Like the Hawkins & Winans - Just extended,

Okay, first there was the Hawkins family; a group of sisters, brothers, cousins and spouses. Then we were given the sibling family, the Winans. Now, the new millenium has rendered the gospel industry, The Singletons. This CD is off the hook!!! I'm a true critic with gospel knowledge ranging from Thomas Dorsey to Tonex. Let me tell you, The Singletons are one of the very few artists of whom I can honestly state without hesitation, offer a gift that is worth every dime. There is not ONE bad cut on this project at all. What knocked me off of my feet was the obvious influence of Andrae Crouch in their music. Crouch's flava is shown on the cuts "Hope Now in Him" and the vamp on "Pour Out Your Holy Spirit" is straight vintage Crouch!!! My favorite cuts have to be the jazz/swing flowing "Fight On" and the chant-flavored "Soles of My Feet". Fred... you outdid yourself man. Radicals and Joann, y'all got a tough act to follow. The Singletons have now raised a new standard. If you're tired of spending money on CD's that render only one or two good cuts, pick up these cats. You will NOT be disappointed. My promise to you. One Love!

Fred Hammond has done it again! After introducing us to RFC member Joann Rosario, he has come forth with his latest addition to his label, the anointed family group The Singletons. Their debut project Pour out your Holy Spirit is one that truly offers a variety of tunes that will please and minister to each listener. From the upbeat sounds of "Hallejuah" and "Let's Bring Him In" to the beautiful "Hope Now In Him" you will definately not be dissapointed. This family clearly shows their heart and passion for Christ from the cd's beginning to end. Overall this album is one that I recommend for all brothers and sisters to check out. The Singletons is definately a group to watch this year and beyond. I look forward to hearing more from The Singletons in the coming future.

I love this CD. Soles of My Feet is off da hook. It's really time for Christians to start getting aggressive in winning souls of Christ and in victory in our personal lives, and that's what this song says to me. The worship songs on the album are wonderful, especially the one written by Charles Laster. I suggest that everyone who like to listen to songs that are encouraging, comforting, worship filled, to buy this CD.

I have to agree with the one reviewer when they said that the Singletons rank up there with the Hawkins Family and the Winans. Of course they haven't achieved the aforementioned's legacy, especially with one album. Their vocal skills are top notch. The thing that stood out is their voices and the excellent vocal arrangements (good job Fred). This album kind of reminds you of RFC, but with more of an urban vibe. A good example of that is "Soles of My Feet". I've played that song a good ten times in the past two days. "Pour Out Your Holy Spirit" was on Fred's "In Case You Missed It" project. My other favorite songs are "Fight On"-nice jazzy-church piece, "Surrender", and "Season of Change". "Season of Change" kind of reminds of "Down by the Riverside" on Kirk's Nu Nation project. Some of this album reminds you of God's Property, I think it's just as good or even better than that project. Fred did a good job on the production, although at times I felt like his production overshadowed the group (i.e.-"Let's Bring Him In"). This family should be around for a while. I don't know who the one member is with the raspy voice, but she needs an album. Listen to the last part of "Pour Out Your Holy Spirit". I love her voice. The guy who leads most of the songs kind of reminds of a young Isaac Carree(Men Of Standard). I repeat, this family can really, really sing. If you haven't purchased this album by now, pick it up and enjoy.

The Singletons has really done an excellent job with their first recording. The upbeat sound of hallelujah really sets you in the mood to go deeper into a place of worship. With the help of Fred Hammond the really did put together a masterpiece. Even though they all are good singers, there is that one person that stands out from the rest. After listening to the song Hope now in him, you will understand why. She don't have to do a lot of runs for her to sound good and when she does, she does not over do it like the others on some songs.Girl you get mad props for that and you do have a special gift. All together the album is very uplifting and is full of the anoiting of God. The best tracks are Hallelujah, Hope Now in Him, and Fight On. These are the songs that really show their vocal talents. I hope we will hear a lot more of you in the future.

I am so proud of the Singletons.... I wish them nothing but success in the years to come. God has blessed them with a phenomenal talent and I'm glad that they are getting a chance to share it with the world.I remember the days of hearing Dee Dee and Camilla singing solos at the conventions.Ryan, I'm so happy for you! I'm really glad that you all are representing true, anointed people of God. May God continue to bless you, love ya!!

Looking for a group that is trullllly singing God's word? The Singletons is that group!!! I recently received it and love the whole thing!I'm the kind of person that not only listens to the beat-but the words that they're singing about. What is a tight beat that makes you move like you used to before JESUS going to do for your spirit now that you've got a relationship with Him???Nothing!!! They truly do minister to you no matter what season of life you're in. I'd recommend it especially to the younger people also. Believe me- I'm serious about the gospel and the music that goes with it...God Bless!!!

There was a time in my life when I wouldn't take a chance on an unknown group or artist, because I used to have the notion that if they were that good there would be some kind of buzz going around about them. However, after discovering artists like Tonex and Tommy Sims over the past year and a half, I have changed my ways. The Singletons are one the best chorales out there you've never heard of. I didn't really feel the album after the 1st couple of listens, but when I really took it in one day, the music grew on me. The album is actually pretty good, and even more impressive is the fact that this is only their first project.
Another thing is that this family has got some REAL singers. I would suggest that the girls split off into a couple of groups or something, especially the ones who sing solo on my favourite "Surrender". That's just me. Anyway, if you don't have the album, I suggest you take a chance and purchase it. I'm a pretty tough critic (just take a look at my reviews and you'll find out), so if I say an album is good, then it is. My favorites include the aforementioned "Surrender", "All Of My Days", and the funkiest cuts in the bunch, "Soles Of My Feet" and "Fight On". Enjoy and God bless.

When I first heard of the Singletons, I didn't pay them much attention. But when I read such positive reviews for this album, I had to pick it up and see for myself. From the first track, I understood why people love them. Their harmonies are so complicated, but beautiful. It doesn't sound like they are trying to force a certain sound-it just comes naturally to them. I especially love "I'll worship you all of my days". That song is so beautiful and I keep it on repeat. If you are skeptical, I encourage you to check them out. You will really be blessed. This project is really uplifting with the nice beats and words, but there is a clear message and purpose. They really minister on each and every track. Go pick it up ASAP!
