Dalida: Pour Toujours DVD contains a documentary starting with Dalida in Egypt. The documentary enters in Dalida's private world and follows her to her different concerts all over the world, such as "Carnegie Hall" in New York. also this DVD includes Dalida recording in the studio and some 1970's music videos.

The first Dalida DVD to be released in America & it's well worth it too.

This Dalida DVD is fabulous. It includes a documentary film on this French singer's life and art that takes us back to her roots in Cairo, Egypt. The house where she was born, her school, the pyramids of Giza create a wonderful background. It also takes us on a tour of major cities where she gave concerts, like New York! The bonus features are just as great. They include a rare photo gallery, videos and the inauguration of the Place Dalida in Paris in 1997. If you haven't heard Dalida sing before this is your chance. She is a class of her own: a strong yet tender voice, beautiful lyrics and fantastic music.

Yeah, the dvd is great, but I do not understand why the Canadians cannot add english sub-titles.True,French is a beautiful language but not everyone speaks it.
The Americans are always adding sub-titles in different languages including French.
I also have purchased some Canadian Romy Schneider DVD"S with the same problem.
Are the Canadians so proud not to include English sub-titles. After all most of Canada speaks English as well.

I didn't like it very much, because I thought it was concert dvd video, but unfortunately it is not. I guess because the description of the product was not clear enough myself or anyone else to understand whether it's a dvd music video or it's the dvd film.
