5.0 out of 5 stars Very Captivating February 12, 2013

A very unique and captivating story. I found it very intriguing and hard to put down. The end is a little abrupt but still quite worth the read.

4.0 out of 5 stars An engaging mysterious tale. September 25, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I'm not sure what to think about this book. Perhaps another read or some time to let it settle will clear that up. What I am sure of is that it is well written, with descriptive and flowing prose. The main premise is engaging and unique, but left me with unanswered questions. The main characters are interesting, but a bit shallow. It would have been nice to get to know them a little better. Even with those issues, which may be my own, I give it four stars for the unique premise and the strong writing. I will definitely give it another read and hope to see more by this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars fascinating stuff! August 20, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
this is truly fantastic stuff a very trippy adventure into a strange bar that transforms peoples lives as they drink and "pour" their drinks into several mysterious portals at each table. no one know where their drinks go or why their lives begin to take turns for the better, they are simply informed of the rules; dont tell any one about this odd unnamed bar or you will not be allowed back, and if you work their and tell some about the bar you may never leave...
