This paperback Bible has highlighted all 2,000 references to poverty and justice. The commandment to bring heaven to earth can no longer be denied, nor the call to act NOW to rectify injustices in our community, city, state, nation and world. Give this Bible to everyone you know, especially your pastor!

This is honestly the best investment I've made in a VERY long time. The highlighted verses are fantastic and so are all the resources that it includes in it.

This targeted Bible study puts poverty & Justice issues of today in a spiritual & eternal perspective that is useful now & effective.

The concept and content of this bible are both great,but the cover and binding are very cheap. The print is small as well.

The Poverty and Justice Bible is a fun reference with God's Words regarding the poor and ideas of justice marked in orange. The center of the Bible has everyday ideas of how the individual might bring justice or help the poor in everyday life. The Poverty and Justice Bible does not stay open by itself and has to be weighted by an object or another book. The print is also quite small. I do prefer a Bible where the binding allows the Bible to lie flat on a table or in my hands. For those avid justice seekers, you can expect nearly the entire book of James to be marked in orange for its many passages on the underserved and downtrodden.

An excellent translation, much easier to read and understand. The Poverty and Justice Bible has an interesting section dealing with a variety of social issues that are world-wide.Numerous suggestions on way to care for the least of these.Numerous scriptural references as to why it's to our mutual benefit to work for the good of all.

This Bible is so easy to read. It is kind of like the message in my opinion, but sounds more 'Bible'. (If that makes sense) I found the more difficult passages to get through much easier to read and understand. I think it is a great compliment to an ESV Study Bible.

Very readable, it's the CEV version, which is the easiest to read. The highlights in the text are a little surprising at first, but help the words jump off the page. I have an advanced education and I loved this version; I also gave this to a prisoner with an 8th grade education who loved it as well. Universal appeal.

The CEV Poverty and Justice Bible is so helpful to my work fighting hunger and poverty. It allows me to find exactly what I need and more - quickly. I am a pastor who truly believes that one of Jesus main foci under the category of "Loving One Another!" is fighting injustice including poverty, hunger, inequalities in our world today. Thank you for creating this version of THE WORD. It is important that we all explore it's depths.

Now I have a red, green and orange letter bible/s. Color can help sort truth, out. I like the green, orange supporting documentation/articles. Red one needs work (funny) but I like poetry too.
