A reproduction of the cheval mirrors of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the lovely brings a touch of history into any room and complements traditional décor. The adjustable mirror swings between two decoratively turned posts to provide the user with a full length reflection. Crafted out of hardwoods, the mirror frame features a warm heirloom cherry finish. The mirror frame stands on gracefully carved, bracketed feet. For further mirror stability, a stretcher spans the space between the two posts. The cheval mirror requires some home assembly. To guard against manufacturer and material defects, Powell offers a limited one-year warranty. The assembled mirror measures 22-1/2 inches wide by 16 inches deep at the feet, and stands 59-1/4 inches high. This item weighs 20 pounds upon shipping.

I ordered this item and it arrived with the mirror completely shattered. I attempted to exchange it for another one which then arrived with a scratch in the middle of the mirror and on the frame. Needless to say, I did not try a third time. This is a very cheap mirror and even if it had arrived in one piece, there is a very noticeable seem on the wood frame. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars on a better quality mirror.

This is a nice cheval; workmanship could be better, but for the price, it is adequate. It has a very obvious seam on the frame, but all the parts fit together as constructed. If you don't look at the frame really close, it's a nice overall addition to a bedroom. I can see my entire self in it, top to bottom. If you spend more money, you will get better workmanship.

This mirror is beautiful. It is easy to put together and looks a lot more expensive than it is! You may see a small seam or there may be a small area that the finish is not quite up to par - but for the price you cannot beat it! The packaging, in my opinion, could have been better - but I feel fortunate that mine was received unscathed. The color is true to picture. We're very pleased.
