I'm an Electrical Engineer and was looking for something to entertain my son on long road trips. It took me about 3 hours to install a headrest in my Ford Edge. I spent most of the time being careful not to cause damage to my seat while opening the bottom of the seat to allow for the cord to pass through. After that it was a very simple process. I purchased a 12V to 120VAC inverter and powered a WD Media Converter which I installed under the back seat. The HD-88BK runs straight off of the car battery through the power outlet in the back.

My new system allows me to play our entire DVD collection and kept my 3 year old entertained for a 8 hour trip.

There are adjustment screws on the bottom of the headrest that you can loosen to tilt the headrest forward. Most newer cars are tilted forward for safety. I was reluctant to install an aftermarket product on a 5 star rated car, but did not want to cut up the headrest to do the install. Once I tilted the headrest forward, it appears to me that it is just as safe as the OEM headrest.

I do not see how you can get a better deal on two headrest monitors. If there's one out there, I missed it.

This is a great value and very good quality headrest moniters. We installed them in a 2010 Lexus sedan and they work great and I saved over $2000.00 that the dealership wanted to do this for us. Thanks for offering good quality equipment like the Power Acoustik product.

When i made the purchase i was buying power akuostic equipment, not exactly a well known brand but i have had equipment from them before, however what i recieved was farenheit a brand that doesnt even have a decent website, I dont have the time or patience to return it so i installed it. Instructions are terrible one picture with all the conections not one written word. I was Ble to figure it out but this certainly not for someone who has never done auto sound. Image is decent not spectacular otherwise noproblems so far. If product was to be substituted i should of been informed first!!
