5.0 out of 5 stars FOUND WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR
IT'S EXCITING TO CONTROL IMMEDIATELY ALL THE FREQUENCIES WHILE LISTENING TO MUSIC; EVERY SONG/TRACK HAS DIFFERENT FREQUENCY BAND; I'M HAPPY OF LISTENING WHAT I WANT; THANKS TO POWER ACOUSTIC...

3.0 out of 5 stars A great EQ, although with some annoyances
Pros:
- I could not find many single-din dash mount EQs in the market, and my car has a 1-din pocket below the factory radio. Therefore, this was a obvious choice for me.

- With respect to sound quality, this EQ certainly delivers. I love the feature, which allows you to have different EQ settings for the front and rear speakers. Not many EQs in this...

This review is from: Power Acoustik PWM-30 6-Band In-Dash Parametric Equalizer (Electronics)

Not many EQs in this price range have this feature.

- The subwoofer on/off switch is also helpful.

Cons:
- Quality of the plastics feels cheap. I would not have minded paying more for this EQ, had the quality of plastics been better. Honestly speaking, I think this EQ degrades the overall look of my dash.

- Although I did not have this specific problem while installing the EQ, my installer told me that this model appears to have an engine noise problem in some cases (due to some unusual power ground issues). I can't comment on this issue because I didn't get it.

- The part I find the most annoying is the lights. I think they look cheap and are very bright (you can't not notice it). And annoyingly they remain on even after the car is switched off. You have to manually hit the ILL button every time after you turn-off the car in order to switch-off these lights. If you don't turn them off manually, then you are risking attracting attention of thiefs.
