My son & his cousins love this. We can adjust the speed for each of their levels. Cage took a,little longer to set up than we expected. My son's hitting has already improved.

I was a little disappointed when I received it. It did not say anywhere what type of balls it pitched, nor did it come with more than one. So once I received it, I had to wait till I could order some balls to put it into use. Also the instructions were off on ease of setup. You definitely need two or three people to set it up. The pitching machine after it pitches a ball sometimes gets back up to speed and sometimes does not. I guess I just had higher expectations.

My son was having trouble with a slow bat. Just after having it for a week or two we see an enormous difference; he is getting the bat on the ball far more consistently. We bought the lite balls and on the high speeds with the short distance, they fly outta there!

We wound up with a 3rd pitching machine. The first failed within the first day of usage after using the wrong balls, which apparently contributed to something electrical blowing inside the machine. The second blew something electrical inside the machine from the very moment it turned on. The third blew something as well, but we were still able to use it if running 2 different power sources to it. This is not designed well. When plugging the ball feeder into the base (that actually tosses the balls), something electrical happens and blows on the inside of the ball-tosser. We solved this problem by running 2 different extension cords from 2 different outlets and resigned ourselves to keeping the 3rd iteration...out of putting it to rest. It isn't perfect, but is functional.
