I live in an area that's short on electricity a lot and I got this to build a backup power supply. It has worked great. Have had several outages and have been able to at least access phones and other items that are attached to the power supply.

poor item do not buy
had to send the first one back, stopped working. second one now is shuting down, wont read voltage right.contacted power bright and they are no help at all. i would highly advise not to buy this inverter on amazon. i wish i would have bought on ebay.
