Having studied Finance in school, I thought I knew a lot about options, dividends, etc.. but it wasn't until I read this book that I truly understood their power. The Power Curve is great for applying advanced stock concepts to your own investing endeavors. Most finance books are very dry to read, and I usually do not make it through the entire book, but Kyle uses everyday examples explain otherwise complex matters in easy-to-understand ways, and ultimately makes these important investment themes more relevant to everyday life.

I always thought trading options was something that only the guys on Wall Street did. The Power Curve explained how they worked and how I could use them in a practical way to increase returns on my investments, without having to be a mathematician to do it. It was an entertaining read too! Now I keep a copy on the shelf next to my desk at all times for reference. If you want to start trading options I highly recommend this book.

I learned a great deal from this easily understandable book. Before reading this book, I knew what options were, but I had no idea how to actually use them constructivley in a portfolio. This book was great!

This book really makes making money on investments seem like something I can do. I can't usually read money books, but I liked reading this--his tone is friendly and he explains the concepts really well.

The Power Curves highlights one of the most crucial yet overlooked elements of investing - the use of compounding. Kyle's use of sailing analogies makes the book a tremendously interesting read, while each page outlines strategies that impart immense financial wisdom. Definitely one of the best financial investment guides to come along in a long time.

Kyle's "The Power Curve" is the first book to truly delve into options, dividends and compounding while adding a touch of humor. Kyle clearly has the experience and knowlege to put forth such a fantastic book.

I have finally finished reading this book and have to say it has taught me more than any other book I've come across or information I have found on the internet on this topic. I don't typically write reviews but thought this one was warranted. I think what I was mostly impressed with was all the detailed explanations combined with life analogies and references which I found imperative for such complex (and occasionally dry) material. This book is sure to teach you more than what you need to know about investing, using dividends, and the kicker - options. I would highly recommend recommend!
