If you haven't read other self-help books, this is a good one. However, if you are pretty introspective and have delved into what makes you tick by reading other books, this one is rather basic. While the author shares good techniques and insights, they aren't new and I didn't care for many of the exercises. I also found some of the items she shared, such as poems she wrote, quotes she made, etc., a bit annoying for some reason. Too syrupy?

I was disappointed in this book because I didn't find any lightning bolts that really made me think. It appeared to be a compilation of a lot of ideas that have been put out there many times.

This book is amazing. I was delighted to find that it was written in a style that is informative, without bombarding us with unnecessary clutter (which can become overwhelming). Kinesthetic learners will love the exercizes that allow you to write directly in the book. A must read for women everywhere--particularly those who are ready to make the changes in their lives necessary to achieve the confidence, joy, and balance they deserve. If you're willing to do the work, this book truly IS the ideal tool to help you live the life you really want!

I always find just what I need at your site... this motivational book was suggested to me by my business mentor , and she wants to go over it with me, She has used this herself and is motivated to share it's value with others as I am..

I would have to disagree with the first comment. This book is a eye opener it makes you look inside you and see what you are all about makes you think about how you act in life, how you get things out of life. She has good poems and good tests in this book. This book has helped me in so many ways to the way I treated people to the way I treated myself and family. I have learned alot about it and have been changing my ways so we all can have a better life. I HIGHLY reccomend this book.

Power of focus - women is as inspiring and thought-provoking as the original power of focus. I like the special attention to the issues women face and a guide to overcome those issues.

Easy to read and understand with a great format. A necessary read for anyone who is unsure of who and where they are in life. I've already become more focused, just by doing the simple exercises at the end of each chapter.

This book is the "truth" if you would like to get your life to be better than it is. I am delighted that I read it.
