2.0 out of 5 stars extra light, April 15, 2006

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Power of Indirect Influence (Paperback)
the most powerful aspect of this book is its title (it persuaded me to buy). the author spreads about a tablespoon of jam over twelive slices of bread. creative acronyms for basic concepts. doesn't acknowledge the sophistication of the "influencee" so to speak. too basic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Creative approach to communications in the workplace, January 18, 2001

Susan F. Shultz (Paradise Valley, AZ USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: The Power of Indirect Influence (Paperback)
As an executive search consultant representing companies recruiting key individuals and corporate directors, I find this book to be invaluable in facilitating communications in the workplace - perhaps the most critical of all success factors. Personally, as a direct, some would say, too direct, communicator, I appreciate the insights and creative suggestions to help temper my directness while achieving the same outcomes. I recommend this book without qualifiication.

3.0 out of 5 stars an OK book but dont expect too much, August 7, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Power of Indirect Influence (Paperback)
This book is OK. However it hasjust glided over the various methods of indirect influence without going into any great details. Intereting read but dont expect too much from it.
