This book is major step beyond the clinical assessment of panic and anxiety. The author has taken great care to write in plain english, carefully identifying each disorder, concluding each chapter with practical steps you can take to overcome panic and anxiety in all their forms.

You'll understand the variety of anxiety disorders as fictional characters with "real life" symptoms give gripping detail to the nature of each disorder. All this done in situations with which anyone who's ever had a panic attack, depression, flashbacks associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or moments of heightened anxiety will easily identify. Each chapter also includes practical steps which you and I can take to wrest control of our lives, defeating the crippling effects of panic.
