Superb -- but a little over-priced,

This review is from: The Power of Place: Bringing Together Geographical and Sociological Imaginations (Hardcover)
This is without doubt the best introduction to the subject to date. The several authors bring a range of skills to bear on the manifold aspects of power and space and the editors do a fine job in sythesizing what is too often a mélange of incoherent ideas and findings.I'd recommend this book as a perfect choice for advanced seminars in the social sciences--except that it is probably a little too expensive for the average student?

Few books are as worthy of this pricing strategy. Go on, buy it. Impress your friends that you have purchased possibly the most expensive geogrpahy book EVER written.
