Several years my daughter was trampled by her horse ad she wound up with severe muscle damage. She has to stretch everyday to keep her muscles flexible. Since getting the power plate, miraculous healing has taken place. (By the way, she has had every type of therapy from rolfing to active release - you name it. Active release was awesome with the right therapist, some therapist not as good as others. You do have to make sure the therapist is good.) But the power plate allows for deep tissue stretching and healing. Her flexibility has improved my leaps and bounds. She swears by the power plate. When she reads a bad review or a review saying it's all hype, for instance when it say it's like those shaker machines in the 60's. She gets so upset. She is living proof of the power plate works! It works, it works!!! We highly believe in the power plate and it has made all the difference in the world in her stretching routine. It breaks up scar tissue. It has helped with scholiosis too. It also rebuilds muscles and she can't live without it! She used to be in advance ballet and says if only I had this machine then, I would have been unstoppable. She loves the machine. She actually has the power plate my5. We recently purchased the my3 for a nephew who was just diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and the power plate is amazing on lengthening muscles. All the state of the art rehabs have a power plate! Now that should tell you something. It is even used for helping with cancer - drains the lymphatic system. We are STRONG believers in the power plate! It works miracles!

Recently heard about this type of exercise for the first time. I was not very familiar with vibration training, but when traveling through England about a month ago, I saw the Power Plate being sold in Harrods, the enormous London superstore. Actually found out it is as big in Europe as pilates and spinning is in the United States...there are Power Plate studios all over!
It sounded like a gimmick...a vibrating platform that can give you a better workout than lifting weights? But this is totally a product you have to see and try out to believe. The vibrating platform makes your muscles tense up and react to the movement, so you get a more intense workout than you could directly on the ground. It's a weird feeling at first, but you can really tell you muscles are contracting to "right" itself (like if you were pushed and all your muscles tensed) very quickly, like over 50 times a second. There is a lot of science behind it, too...a little confusing, but basically it uses the principles of F=MxA and so with the greater frequency you add, the greater the force on your body. But instead of having to add on heavy weights to see results, you can build up your exercise on this by frequency and time. Since it is an internal force, coming up through your legs, it is super easy on your joints. I did research on the company's website, and there are over 100 studies on how the plate increases circulation, helps with bone density (so could help with the effects of osteoporosis), and how it can decrease cellulite (the vibrations help drain lymphatic fluid)...and I was hooked!
I have had it for a short amount of time, but completely love the product and can use it as an all in one: stretching, warm-up, massage, strength training, etc. I am really happy to decided to purchase this, and it's a blast showing it off to family and friends and explaining the technology.

I have been using My3 Power Plate for 3 weeks now and I am delighted with this incredible vibration machine. The manufacturer recommends using it every other day up to 3 times a week. I use it every day for 10 min. and love it. I am over 60 years old and I can visibly see much firmer legs and arms. It is a fun machine. I am still exploring the many ways to strengthen my body.
Amazon was great to buy from. Everything arrived on time and in great condition.

After finding out I had to set up an appointment to have it delivered, it came on time and in a hugh box and well cushioned. There was not a mannual and no note as to why. The CD doesn't give all the informatiom. I was informed that there were errors in the mannual so they had it pulled from the product which I suspect has been going on for a long time, and a new one is in the works which I suspect has been going on for some time. I asked for it to be sent to me on line which they did immediately and said I would also get a hard copy. The machine works as they say it will. The relaxing exercises are wonderful for all those sore spots. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the physical exercise part of it. It is an amazing machine, just a little trouble with the mannual (a very important part).

Excellent product. The machine is exactly as advertised, and the company packaged it very responsibly. And the delivery was timely.

the whole family loves to use it...It needs no more space than expected so it is really easy to put it almost everywhere....

Ordered power plate and was advised Power Plate would arrive in two week. After two weeks Amazon advised that the Power Plate was lost during shipment and another would be shipped. This caused another two weeks delivery, and the cost had already been posted on my credit card. Power Plate arrived with damaged carton and no instruction booklet. Called Power Plate directly and they graciously sent another instruction/exercise booklet.
