Editorial Reviews

In this sexually-charged thriller, Jacqueline (Shannon Tweed) is a beautiful but unscrupulous woman who supports herself by taking advantage of older men with plenty of money. Not long after Jacqueline sinks her hooks into wealthy Benjamin Alcott, the elderly gentleman turns up dead, and his daughter Candice (Danielle Ciardi) and her lover Steve (Jim Richer) discover that Jacqueline has run off with a quarter-million dollars that was supposed to be deposited into the accounts of Allcot's charitable trust. Candice and Steve are understandably angry about this development, and they formulate a scheme to recover the money and put Jacqueline out of business.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not erotic, exotic, or provocative October 23, 2003
By A Customer
Format:VHS Tape
To all potential buyers looking for a steamy softcore movie with lingerie clad ladies, disguised by a better than average plot and acting, please save your money and look elsewhere. This movie does not deliver on any of the above and Shannon Tweed is left searching for way out of this aimless, plotless, and primarily sexless movie. Even the NC-17 version will let you down. Simply put, it does not deliver in those areas people want when they purchase a movie like this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Shannon Tweed does it again. August 8, 2000
Format:VHS Tape
Normally, I disliked Shannon Tweed because they are cheap and the plot is normally just about sex. My perspective of her was turned around when I watched Naked Lies and this one. This one relied more on suspense and mystery then sex and nudity.
She stars as a murderous and deceitful woman who marries a wealthy man to get his money. His stepdaughter has suspicions about her. After he dies of a fatal heart attack, she finds out what she is really up to. That is where the suspense and murder come in. Yes, this movie may contain some strong sexuality, but it was not as sexually charged as some of her other ridiculous films.
Once again, this is one of her best. I recommend this to anyone who would like to see a good Shannon Tweed suspense film.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good performance February 18, 2000
By A Customer
Format:VHS Tape
Tweed gives a very sexy performance, despite not being naked very often in the film. Tweed plays a nasty scam artist that preys on wealthy men. The evilness of Tweed is very sexy, as Tweed plays the sexiest villians in the B movie business. The whole movie rides Tweed, and she successfully carries it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Packed with non-stop sex!!!!! November 7, 2001
Format:VHS Tape
I only got this movie because Shannon Tweed is by far the most sexiest and most seductive actress of all time. She looks great in black suspenders and we see her perform some of the most hot and wild sex scenes ever. Forget the storyline, get this movie for the sex!!!Its all about the Sex!!!and this delivers plenty of wild sex!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Attractive reliable cast in entertaining film. August 25, 1999
Format:VHS Tape|Verified Purchase
Shannon Tweed, attractive and talented as always, plays a cold-hearted femme fatale in a fairly good film with plenty of plot twists. The supporting cast are also quite interesting and do a first rate job. Only quibble, several nasty violent scenes which could have been avoided.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good July 10, 2006
Basically, the quality of this DVD is not good and Shannon Tween didn't perform very well in this film. Although other girls show the nudity and sex scene, it does not help too much for this poor movie.

3.0 out of 5 stars Huh? February 3, 2012
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Where to start with this one? Well, it just doesn't make a lot of sense. Not so much because the plot doesn't make sense--it's actually mildly interesting--but because the movie never figures out what exactly it wants to be: Is it a thriller? A comedy? A heist picture? A sex romp? I never figured it out, and that's because the movie's makers obviously didn't know what they were going for here.

The fact is that it does a little bit of all those, but doesn't do any of them particularly well. Heck, they couldn't even decide who the main character is. Shannon Tweed gets the cover, and in the beginning it appears to be her story...but about halfway through everything turns around and then it seems to be the story of the hot-shot (or is it dip-spit?) boyfriend, who hangs out with Candy (Danielle Ciardi), who is the only real reason to watch this mess. She disrobes about four times--one time full monty for the camera--and good lord what a body.

Her sex scenes, though, with the (in those scenes goofy rather than menacing) boyfriend, are played more for laughs. Tweed's are more garden-variety from the erotic-thriller era from which this originates. I'm telling you...this movie tried hard to have something for everyone in the adult audience...even the gore-hounds. Jack of all trades, master of none.

One other thing though...and a positive check-mark: It was refreshing to see Tweed cast as a villainess for once.
