In the first chapter, Sherry Hansen Steiger writes the following: "Each of us ultimately needs to discover why we are here, who we really are, where we are going in life, and what is our purpose? Each of us longs for that `something more' - that spiritual connection that carries all the way through the beginning to the end and back again. No matter what name we call God it is always prayer that takes us to God. Prayer is the link to the way we talk to God, and therefore, find the answers to everything else."

If you read Time or Newsweek, you know that scientific studies have shown conclusively that prayer works. "Doesn't anyone at Amazon.com screen these reviews? How could we possibly take seriously criticisms of Sherry Hansen Steiger's marvelous book on the power of prayer from a reviewer who can't even spell "pray" and "Christ" correctly? I give this inspirational work a glowing five-stars!"

Really, ignore the one negative review from the 'skolar' (ha) who wrote, "Read Your bible, prey 4 times a day." If he's 'preying' he must be hung up on the old testament.

If you value your spirituality, then you will treasure this wonderful book.
