There's a lot of confusion on Amazon about these 'Power of a Praying...' books because their covers look similar. Stormie made THREE books for each spouse: 1) the book itself; 2) a study guide for individuals or small groups; 3) a booklet full of prayers to pray for each day. This book is the prayer booklet for husbands. There is also one for the wives.

People are writing reviews for the main book here when really this is the page for the prayer booklet. Both are awesome but it causes confusion for those who are ordering the books.

At any rate, this is an indispensable tool for praying for your wife daily. If used every day, you will cycle through it approximately every two months. It's small and easy to use and take on travel. Each prayer is based on scriptural principles and covers a specific area of your wife's life.

Originally I thought this book would be similar to the "The Power of a Praying Wife", but after realized that this format was much better because he does not like to read, and it is short and to the point.

First of all I bought this under my wife's account. As a husband, I bought this book to pray for my wife and I but it is so much more. My kids have gotten on their knees with me and prayed and it included them in the prayer. GOD figures this stuff out and knows what we need from day to day. I recommend this book for every husband.

What a powerful book! I love this entire series. We ALL need more prayer in our lives and more prayer for our spouses and children.

Great book. This is actually not the BOOK itself but a selection of prayers. An accidental purchase but has landed up being fantastic. A great guide to praying for one's spouse. Buy it!

This is a great book. My husband carries it with him and prays for me daily. He is glad I bought him the Book of Prayers instead of the entire book. He said he may have lost interest if it was the entire book. I definitely recommend that each husband own one of these.

This book can help men pray for their women on specific areas. I happen to love Stormie Omartian books and a huge fan. I bought it for my boyfriend.

This book is absolutely amazing. This is a must have book for husbands looking for direction in their marriages. I actually shared/read most of it with my wife. I immediately started putting it to practice with amazing results. I even purchased the small prayer book which I carry daily, that I can pull it out and pray for my wife whenever I get the urge, which is regularily.

I purchased this item a number of years ago as a present for my wife- that I would go through this book faithfully to pray for my wife. It has been a wonderful asset to our marriage. Occasionally I would remove the cardstock prayer and put on the mirror or have out somewhere so my wife would know specifically what I was praying that day about on her behalf. I purchased more books via Amazon to give to some of my friends. I was somewhat disappointed that this book is a paperback instead of cardstock, so the only way to remove a specific prayer is to tear it out of the book. This is a minor inconvenience.

I brought this book but I did'nt realize it would be a compact book that's the only thing that did'nt interest me about this book and when I purchased it the seller did'nt explained that at all if I would haved known i would'nt have brought it.
